Lightning Experiment

I was always fascinated with lightnings ever since I was a child. I remember doing this simple experiment which allows me to create my very own little version of a lightning using simple things around the house.

Cystitis – Ouch!!!

I have no idea what cystitis is until my friend Grace told me about it. She told me about it because she was suffering from it and boy I could hardly imagine the pain that she has to go through. What bothered me most was when she told me that women or highly susceptible to this disease. Why was I bothered? I’m male so why should I be bothered at all? I was bothered because my family is mostly women – my mom, three aunts, my wife, and my two daughters.

Hey guys, I need your opinion on this. I have cable TV at home but someone told me that satellite TV is even better. I checked out some and found some that offer free DVR or HD! Dish Network and installation in up to 4 rooms.

September 7 Partial Lunar Eclipse

A lunar eclipse is something that is not passed-up by weirdos like me. Ok, I’m not really a weirdo but many people call me so because I love going out at night upto early dawn just to look up the sky and take a look at the stars, the moon, the planets, comets, and meteors.

Lunar Eclipse – Waiting for it

It’s 11:11pm here in the Philippines (+8GMT) and I’m still waiting for the partial lunar eclipse which is to occur at about 3 hours from now.  So I guess I just have to think of ways to keep myself alive, alert, awake, and enthusiastic. :D   Also, I do hope that the weather cooperates.

The New Solar System Presentation

A few days ago, Kiel’s father asked me if I could lecture a group of 1st year and 4th year students about the solar system and so I thought that this would be a good opportunity to tell them that we no longer have 9 planets in the Solar System. So I got myself into creating a short presentation to help these kids understand what the Solar System is all about.
