As each day goes by, Comet Pojmanski climbs higher and higher in the sky.  This day - February 28 - at 5:00am, Comet Pojmanski was already at about 15 degrees from the horizon making it easier to look at.

I started observing around 4:30 at my favorite site near our house here in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.  I didn’t check the chart for Pojmanski’s location because I want to see how easy it will be this time to spot Comet Pojmanski - and easy it was.  The comet was about 8 degrees from Venus’ 7:30 position.  Using my 10×50 binoculars, it’s tail was still visible but is now pointing a bit higher at a 1 o’clock position compared to it’s 1:30 position during my previous observations.  I can see about half a degree or more of tail but I think it is longer.  Visibility was a bit poor due to some fog but I still enjoyed the view.  As usual, I tried checking if it was visible to the naked eye and still it was.  Again, averted vision is still required to see the comet and looking at it with the naked eye is more of a challenge than a pleasure. :)  I’m still putting it at around Magnitude +5 to +5.2 but those are just my estimates.  Confirm it for yourselves.
