A school district went to court Monday to defend its policy of telling students that a higher power may have created life — an alternative to the evolution theory they are already learning.And I find this to be really, really stupid!

Finally, gills for humans!

I remember years back when I was still a child that I wondered whether I could fly like a bird or breathe underwater like a fish. The latter has become reaility (which makes me wonder when birdmen will come true). Thanks to an Israeli inventor who developed such a device which enables human beings to breathe the absorbed oxygen in water – much like what a fish does.

It appears that ants think

A crafty ant species builds a trap dotted with foxholes for surprise attacks on an insect. They stretch their victim out like a medieval criminal on a rack as more ants swarm in for the kill.Such incredible cooperation among ants has never before been described by scientists.

Greenhouse Gas Market

At first, the idea seems absurd. How can one earn from the global warming greenhouse gases? I can’t really understand how until I came across the article. The idea is based on credits that is assigned to participating countries. If a country exceeds its credit limit (in terms of greenhouse gas emission), then it needs to buy additional credits from other countries who doesn’t consume all of their credits.Sounds nice ey? Let’s stop pollution

Pollution has been a menacing problem ever since it was first experienced. The funny thing is that we don’t seem to be exerting enough effort to stop (or at least control) this problem. We have a future to build – for our children and the generations after them but if we don’t move now, that generation might end up being nothing – like a puff of smoke.
