This is definitely a whole different way to look at things.
One day a father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the firm purpose of showing his son how poor people live so they spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.

Ever watched the movie “Alien vs Predator?” No, I haven’t watched it yet but I will. Anyway, it reminds of the story “Alien” where the alien species needs us humans so they can breed. Gross!!! Imagine, they have to travel all the way through the stars just to use us for breeding!

I’m a regular visitor of
www.SPACE.com – a website about anything related to space and technology. Recently they have this article which I find to be very very interesting. According to the story, NASA just opened its new “Propulsion Research Center” whose goal is to develop new and unique propulsion systems for space. Some of their ideas are nuclear propulsion (fission and possibly fusion), electric arc stuff, new generations of the ion engine, and antimatter drives. What I find most amusing however is the idea of putting up a giant slingshot in space. They call it the Momentum-Exchange/Electrodynamic-Reboost (MXER) Tether System.
